How to enable and configure user whitelisting.

If you want to enable whitelist, to let specific people to login into your server(s), this article will guide you on how to enable and configure whitelist.

In-Game Method:

  1. Login into your minecraft server.
  2. Enter this command to enable whitelist “/whitelist enable”
  3. After enabling whitelist, to add players to the whitelist list, enter this command “/whitelist add [Player’s name] .

Console Method:

  1. Login to your TcAdmin control panel.
  2. After logging in click on “Game services” at the left side of the screen under the category “Game and Voice Management”.
  3. At the bottom of your browsing page you will see multiple menus including “Configuration files”, “Commandline manager”, “Updates”, Etc.
  4. After Scrolling through the menus you will find a menu called “Web Console”, Click on it.
  5. After that click on the menu you will be sent to a new browsing page, with a lot of commands and plugins name that are running in your server.
  6.  At the bottom of your browsing page you will see at the left corner “Command:” and next to it is a blank white bar.
  7. To enable whitelist, type in “Whitelist enable”.
  8. After enabling whitelist, to add players to the whitelist list, enter the command “whitelist add [Player’s name]”.

Server.Properties Method:

  1. Login to your TCAdmin control panel.
  2.  After logging in click on “Game services” at the left side of the screen under the category “Game and Voice Management”.
  3. At the bottom of your browsing page you will see multiple menus including “Configuration files” Click on it.
  4.  You will be sent to a new page, in that page you will see multiple files such as “Server properties.txt “, “Banned-Ips.txt”, “Banned-players.txt”, “Ops.Txt” after that you will see “White-list.txt”, you will see at the right side of the” White-list.txt” filea button called “Text Editor”, click on it.
  5.  You will be sent to a blank page, type in your ingame name in the page.
  6. Click on “Save”.
  7. Restart your server, after restarting the names in the”White-list.txt” file will be whitelisted.(note: to enable whitelist you need to either to do it from Console or In-Game)
